Server address

play.witherme.com Java · 26.1.2

Minecraft: Java Edition on PC/Mac — not Bedrock. Set your version to 26.1.2 (step 3).

Get Minecraft: Java Edition

At minecraft.net/get-minecraft, sign in with (or make) a Microsoft account and buy Minecraft: Java & Bedrock. Then install the Minecraft Launcher.

Java Edition only — the phone/Xbox/Switch version (Bedrock) can't join.

Sign in to the Launcher

Open the Minecraft Launcher and sign in with that same Microsoft account.

Set your version to 26.1.2

In the Launcher: Installations → New installation → pick release 26.1.2 → name it witherme → Create.

Do NOT use "Latest release" — it's newer and the server will reject it.

Have a parent text AJ your username

The server only lets in people on its list. Have a parent send your exact Minecraft username to AJ to get added.

Add the server

Launch your 26.1.2 install → Multiplayer → Add Server. For Server Address type play.witherme.com → Done.

Join & play

Click the witherme server, then Join Server. You'll spawn into the world. Welcome! 🎉

If something goes wrong

"Outdated client / server"

Your version isn't 26.1.2 — redo step 3 and pick release 26.1.2.

"You are not white-listed"

Not added yet, or the username was misspelled. Have a parent re-send your exact username to AJ.

Can't connect / "Failed to authenticate"

Fully quit Minecraft and the Launcher, reopen, confirm you're signed into Microsoft, try again.

"Chat is not allowed"

Account chat is off. A parent enables it at account.xbox.com → Privacy → "communicate with voice & text" → Allow.
